Cosplay 2008 - Kallen Kozuki

Kallen Kozuki from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and R2.

Out of all the costumes I've ever made, THIS one was the most difficult by far. There were so many setbacks, failures, and utter annoyances, but in the end it turned out to be one of the costumes I am most proud of.

I never used a pattern once for any piece of this costume, though the shorts I do admit are an old pair of shorts covered in the tan cloth. The top is actually leather covered in the tan cloth, meaning it was a royal pain to sew.

The wig was colored by hand with sharpies and styled by hand as well. The only problems I had with this costume were:

a) the sharpie color rubbed off on things, namely the back of the collar

b) I had to literally tape the leggings to myself and,

c) the belt was a wee bit too small for me.

But I still love it, and I enjoyed every minute of wearing it. The boots are soooo comfy! (though they need MASSIVE repairs now).
